New website launched! Here is what it takes...
Yes, yes, and yes again! After a long, and orchestrated process CTU's new website is launched.
I'm very excited about this new and clean look and very thankful to those who sacrificed from their sleep, watching TV, doing laundry, Facebook crawling, and etc. It's a beautiful thing to see the perfect child of our team's labor. It has been extra difficult completing this website since most of our team members have been busy with clients' projects.
I have experienced many website launches since the day our team started designing and hosting them many years ago and I can tell you that it's a big celebration each and everytime. I don't think most understand the importance of a well-done website let alone the process of getting there. I have taken over many projects with clients at the end of their wits with the team who failed them as well as those who decided to do it themselves then abandoned the whole thing. These have been the most painfull and stressfull success stories and we hope since you're reading this, you won't ever find yourself in this situation.
Pick the right team not the right person!
If you know someone who knows someone else that can help you with your website for very little money it's not a good enough reason to work with them. Most of these friends get excited to help a friend but in most cases I have seen they're either not good at it or they get bored and stop picking up your calls and you're stuck with a halfway done website. Another common situtation we face is dealing with websites made by the clients themselves. So you heard that there is this website or computer program which you can simply plug your information in and it takes care of the rest so you decided to give it a try. Bad idea! These amature looking website not only make you lose credibility on the net but also cause problems loading and rendering due to their excess code and incompatilities with browser. They're also hard to build on with their strict limitations.
The team behind your website is your the most improtant step for success. Working with a professional doesn't necessarily mean spending a lot of money but it does mean avoiding headaches and spending a lot more money in the long run. In a team like ours I can provide my clients with a design talent, content specialist, programmer, and a marketing guru in one project based on their needs. Expecting all these skills from one person would simply be unealistic.
Your website gives the first impression of who you are to a visitor and your chances of capturing their attenation lies in the detail so we ask that you do your homework before you make your move.
